Psychological Thrillers:       

                                         The target audience for this genre are more likely to be middle-aged men and women. In most cases psychological thrillers require people to think, younger people tend to chose certain genres as a form of escapism whereas adults like the intellectual stimulation provided by a film which requires them to think and almost solve the mystery with the central character.
