Intertexuality

Interxtextualility is when a film immitates another film by refering to important aspects of the clip, the is is done through many areas such as camera work, mise-en-scene and editing to show us the refrence made by one filmand how it relates to another.

Family Guy Spoof Of Star Wars Compared With The Original

This is Screen Grabs of Chris Griffin battleing Stewy from family guy, this is a clear example of how family guy has used refrences from star wars to make their own remake. This is clear use of intertexualilty.
Intertextuality is the shaping of texts' meanings by other texts. It can include an author’s borrowing and transformation of a prior text or to a reader’s referencing of one text in reading another.
